At Deep SCI, we believe privacy is a fundamental human right. Our application is designed from the ground up to protect your personal information. We do not collect, monetize, or share your private communications, contacts, or identities.
Deep SCI enforces a strict policy of Zero-Contact-Sharing, Zero-SMS-Scanning, and Zero-Call-Recording.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Unlike traditional spam blocking applications, Deep SCI operates under a zero-access model:
- No Contact List Access: We never request permission to view, read, or upload your phone's address book. Your contacts remain entirely on your device.
- No SMS or Message Reading: We do not scan, read, or intercept your text messages, SMS histories, or verification codes.
- No Audio or Call Recording: We have zero ability to record, listen to, or process the audio of your incoming or outgoing phone calls.
- No Personal Accounts: You do not need to register, provide an email address, link a phone number, or submit a name to use Deep SCI.
2. How Call Identification Works (100% Offline)
Deep SCI utilizes the Apple CallKit framework to identify and silence spam calls. All caller identification is performed locally on your device:
- The app downloads a database of flagged spam numbers directly to your iPhone.
- When an incoming call arrives, your phone matches the caller's number locally using this offline database.
- At no point is the identity of the incoming caller sent to our servers. We never know who is calling you.
3. Community Tagging and Submissions
When you choose to flag a phone number as spam, the submission contains only:
- The specific phone number being reported.
- The selected category (e.g. Robocall, Scam, Telemarketing).
- A locally generated pseudonymous tagger identifier stored securely in your Keychain to prevent spam-farm abuse. This ID cannot be used to trace your physical identity or link back to your personal email or account.
4. Third-Party Data Sharing
Deep SCI does not sell, lease, trade, or distribute your reports or pseudonymous identifiers to data brokers, marketing networks, or third-party advertisers.
